Our place is awesome for work groups and large families given its large size and close proximity to Atlanta’s best attractions. We’re less than 10 min drive to Mercedes Benz, World Congress Center, Americas Mart, State Farm Arena & Georgia Aquarium and 15 min to the airport. Our max capacity is 20 people.

Traveling for pleasure?

This property is awesome for large friends and family groups – with two kitchens, you’ll find plenty of space to cook and the large islands are great to put catering chafers on. Many families comment on how having the two independent floors gives them enough room to spread out and have some quiet alone time, while still being together and enjoying the group atmosphere. We’ve hosted many responsible celebrations here too – birthdays, bachelor/ette and family reunions are our most popular.

Traveling for business?

One of our main clientele for this location is business teams wanting to stay together and get more work done, while still having their own bedrooms and space. Super close to main conferencing sites Georgia World Congress Center and Americasmart, there is space for a large van to park privately and safely behind the home. We’ve also hosted successful retreats at this location, with the main living spaces TVs hooking up to laptops and wall space for hanging post-its for brainstorming. This property has gig-speed wifi.

Guest Requirements

We are opening our home to you and in return ask that you respect our home, neighbors and community. We welcome guests that are:

  • Primary booking guest aged 25 and over (families/children welcome!)
  • Not local
  • No gatherings/ events or additional guests allowed on premises
  • Rental agreement, ID and refundable security deposit scheduling ($500) required within 48h of booking

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payments

1st payment is 50% of the total, due upon booking. 
2nd payment is the remaining 50%, due 30 days prior to arrival. It will be charged to the card used for the initial booking, unless guest specifies another preferred card.

Every booking requires a fully refundable security deposit of $500. This amount is not included in the booking total as it is refundable. The security deposit is a standard hold placed on the card 2 days prior to arrival and is released 2 days after the successful stay.  

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your stay, we will provide a refund as follows: 

If 30 days or more prior to date of check-in, 97% of the 1st payment will be refunded. 3% is withheld to cover the credit card processing fees, which are not able to be recovered.  If the cancellation within 29 days of check-in, there are no refunds. 

For extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis. 

 

Respect the Neighbors

As you know, our place isn’t a hotel in a commercial area – it’s a home in a residential neighborhood with close neighbors. So, we have some basic courtesy rules to help respect the neighbors.

  1. Outdoor quiet hours start at 10 PM and the property’s outdoor spaces close.
  2. No additional guests allowed on premises, at any time.
  3. Park in the driveway, back parking area, or cul-de-sac only. Do not park in or block neighbor driveways.

Please be advised that if your intent is to party, this isn’t the right fit – you’ll be removed from the premises.

Location

The West End Historic District is full of culture, charm and character. The house is on a private cul de sac in a residential area and the area and street are quiet and safe. The area is very urban and feels such – you are smack in the middle of a huge metropolitan area – and the West End is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. You’ll find numerous homes restored to their previous glory next to new construction, as well as homes still in need of renovation. Behind our home is Hammonds House, a restored historical landmark and art gallery. Our guests love how close the neighborhood is to Atlanta favorites and conferencing sites and the rarity to find such a large home so close in to the city.

Getting Around

Driving

There’s off-street parking for 4 cars behind the house, and free street parking for countless more vehicles on the quiet cul-de-sac/dead-end street. This much off-street parking is a huge rarity in the city!

Public Transit

Both downtown Atlanta and the airport are a quick drive or a no-transfer ride on MARTA. 

It’s a 15 minute walk to the West End MARTA train station from the house.

Have a blast: Try out an e-scooter or e-bikes that you can find throughout the neighborhood and city. Super fun trip to ride downtown!!
